Hong Kong Security Personnel Day was celebrated yesterday (July 24), and for the first time the industry gathered at Central Market for celebrations, with great public participation.
Our gratitude to Central Market for being a venue partner and making available the vibrant location for us to mark Hong Kong Security Personnel Day with the public. It was nice to see so many industry representatives gathering, and encouraging to draw enthusiastic public attention, with many people making enquiries and showing heightened interest in the security industry.
Our thanks to former Guardforce Chairman Mr George Chin for initiating the International Security Officers Day a few years ago, which then evolved to Hong Kong Security Personnel Day locally.As an advisor for the local event, Guardforce Hong Kong will continue to stimulate public awareness, recognition and appreciation for security personnel’s contributions to the community, in the spirit of the annual event.
